The Bracelet is a 1/4-inch wide, cuff-shaped band featuring the familiar small, raised AIDS ribbon on the outside. Inside is a small plaque inscribed with "Until There's A Cure." Designed by Isabella Geddes da Filicaia and manufactured in Italy.

Our new Orphan Bracelets are handcrafted by South African women living with HIV/AIDS using (lead free) copper, brass and aluminum wire. All proceeds go towards helping mother's and children in South Africa whose lives have been severely impacted by HIV/AIDS. Your purchase provides employment to the mothers, and nourishment and care to the HIV/AIDS orphans of the world.

Hand-carved in the Ovahimba tribal tradition by villagers in Namibia, the African Bronze bracelets are typically made of recycled bronze piping cut into strips. A hammer and chisel are used to create the design and to shape them into bracelets. The bracelets are finished using sand paper and a buffing cloth. Each bracelet features a representation of the AIDS ribbon, and each is a unique work of wearable art.
