Stories From The Heart
We read that HIV/AIDS afflicts millions... but we know that the disease wounds individuals and families on a very personal level.
We read that organizations develop vaccines, administer prevention education, and provide testing... but we know that HIV/AIDS stops spreading one person at a time. We read that government agencies spend billions on HIV/AIDS-related programs... but we know that one person can make a difference.
We asked you to tell us your stories. With unflinching honestly and candor, you shared your joys and sorrows, your triumphs and losses, and, most importantly, your indomitable spirits. It is our privilege to share excerpts from some of your writings.
